Located in Jeju City, this traditional Korean tea house is overflowing with rustic style and delicious food in the form of Korean temple cuisine.

How To Get There
Address: 24 Onam-ro 6-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do (제주 제주시 오남로6길 24)
Directions: The easiest way to get around the island is by renting a car on Jeju Island. If you are staying in Jeju City though and don’t plan on renting, buses 311 and 312 both stop right near Dasoni.

Rustic Charm Overflowing
The restaurant can seem a bit hidden from the street as you drive along. When you come to the spot, look for a yellow building and a stone sign and a path that leads away from the road and up to the door.
The interior of this restaurant is charming and rustic with plenty to look out from wood crafts to pottery, and a lot of calligraphy pieces. If you can, choose a seat near the large windows to take advantage of the views out over the garden.
A Delicious Ode To Vegan Food
Dasoni’s thực đơn is full of Korean temple cuisine, with dishes that are vegan-friendly and adaptable for vegans upon request, just make sure to let them know you’re vegan. If you do, they’ll know to give you the radish-based broth soup instead of the anchovy-based broth soup, for example.
The restaurant uses seasonal ingredients and the thực đơn features well-known dishes lượt thích bibimbap but you’ll find it slightly different than you might have had before as it’s adorned with seasonal vegetables.
They offer an array of flavorful dishes, one of our favorites is the lotus leaf rice, a beautiful dish that comes out with rice, ginkgo nuts, jujube, and lotus roots wrapped with rice in a lotus leaf. If you’ve sầu never had it before, the rice comes out sweet and sticky and delicious. It’s one of my daughter’s favorite dishes. Of course the table is also covered with plenty of Korean side dishes. For something more filling, get the sujebi, a soup made with thick doughy noodles. There are plenty of other options to choose from though. Stop here for a bite to eat and you’ll see.
